★★★★★
“He provided tremendous value by helping us develop an organizational chart and conducting in-person interviews with 35 of our staff, along with DISC assessments to better understand role alignment across the team. I highly recommend People Purpose to any organization looking to strengthen their team and improve alignment.”

“Rod gave us a repeatable hiring framework built for long-term success, for both employer and employee. The process takes longer than we were used to, but we can’t argue with the results.”

Before you book

Here's what to expect

  1. Discovery callHang up knowing where you stand, instead of guessing.
    • What you'll experience: A free twenty-minute call where we ask what the role has to own and who it reports to.
    • What you'll receive: A straight answer on whether we are the right fit for the role.
  2. ProposalSay yes without second-guessing, with the scope and cost in writing.
    • What you'll experience: We write up what we heard and show you how we would fill the seat.
    • What you'll receive: A written proposal that names what the search covers and what it costs for your role.
  3. Draw the seatYou and the person you hire start with the same picture of the job.
    • What you'll experience: Before anyone writes a job ad, we map the org chart around the role with you.
    • What you'll receive: A clear picture of what the seat carries and who it reports to.

A seat reporting to the wrong person fails no matter who fills it, and no amount of screening fixes that afterward.

  4. Write the job descriptionA standard that holds, so you can trust every finalist.
    • What you'll experience: You tell us what the person has to produce, and we put it in plain words.
    • What you'll receive: A written job description and scorecard that every finalist is measured against.
  5. We post, screen, and where the role needs it, go find themYour evenings stay yours, not buried in a stack of applications.
    • What you'll experience: We read every application and phone the real ones, so the sorting stays off your desk.
    • What you'll receive: The two or three people worth an hour of your time, on your calendar.

Reach the people a job board never will.

A job board only reaches people who are already looking, so we post on every search. Where the role needs it, we also work word of mouth and approach candidates directly.

  6. Prove the fitYour new hire starts out feeling wanted, in a seat that fits.
    • What you'll experience: Every finalist takes a behavioural assessment before you meet them, and we read what it says about how they are wired.
    • What you'll receive: A written shortlist report, so you are choosing between people who match the seat.

Read people to serve them. Where the role calls for it, finalists also sit a deep interview and three reference calls before you meet them.

Straight answers

Questions owners ask first.

What am I paying for?

The work. On The Hire and Full Service, the fee is fixed at signing, it covers the work whether or not you hire from the shortlist, and it is not a commission charged when someone starts. What the work covers for your role, and what it costs, goes in the proposal after your discovery call.

What if nobody on the shortlist is right?

On The Hire and Full Service, we promise two people who meet the scorecard within the window in your agreement, sixty days, or the second half of the fee is not owed. Only Full Service adds a ninety-day replacement guarantee once someone is hired. If the scorecard says nobody in the pipeline is right, we keep looking inside that window rather than handing you a shortlist just to hand you one.

What if the person leaves?

On Full Service, if the person you hire resigns through no fault of yours, or is dismissed for cause, inside 90 days, we run the search again once, at no additional fee. The Hire does not include a replacement guarantee. Your terms are settled before you sign and written into the contract, not a handshake.

How fast is this?

There is no fixed number of days, because it depends on the ticket and the season. A general labourer search moves faster than a search for a Red Seal tradesperson with a specific ticket. Tell us your start date early and we will tell you straight whether it is realistic.

Do you use AI to screen candidates?

We use it to read. A person decides. Every applicant is read by software that flags who is worth a closer look, but a person makes every call on who moves forward, and everyone who applies hears back within five business days.
