Clean books in 30 days.
A number you trust when someone asks how the month went. We set QuickBooks Online up for how a shop like yours actually bills and pays people, or move you off desktop, Sage or the spreadsheet with your history intact.
Set up and trained by a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor · Bank feeds, sales tax, payroll · Based in Manitoba

Everything above, plus your history brought over and reconciled to your last statement.
Half at signing, half at hand-over. Prices in Canadian dollars, GST extra.
What the price covers.
Setup, from $1,500, covers:
- One company file for one business
- One bank account and one credit card connected
- GST and Manitoba RST set up where they apply
- Payroll for up to ten employees
- Invoicing and one payment method connected
- Two hours of recorded training
- Thirty days of email answers after hand-over
Migration, from $3,500, covers everything in Setup, plus:
- History from one system (QuickBooks Desktop, Sage, or spreadsheets) for up to two fiscal years
- Up to three bank or credit card accounts reconciled to the last statement
- One currency
Priced for owner-operated shops of ten to a hundred people with one company file. More entities, more history, more accounts, inventory, multi-currency, or a payroll over ten people is quoted before we start, in writing, and the number does not move after that.
Owner-operated shops of ten to a hundred people.
A roofing crew, a carpentry shop, a handyman business, a machine shop, a mechanical contractor, a mine services company. Books that live on QuickBooks Desktop, in Sage, in a spreadsheet, or in a bookkeeper's head. An owner who finds out what the month made three weeks after it ended.
Built for the business you run, not a template.
- A chart of accounts built for a trades or manufacturing business, not the default template
- Bank and credit card feeds connected and categorized
- Sales tax set up for Manitoba, GST and RST where they apply
- Payroll and invoicing connected and tested
- Migration only: history brought over and reconciled to the last statement, so nothing is lost and nothing is doubled
- Two hours of training for whoever keeps the books, recorded so they can watch it again
- Thirty days of answers to "how do I..." after hand-over
Give us access. Sit one working session.
Then keep doing what you do. About three hours of your own time, total.
QuickBooks Online, set up to fit.
QuickBooks Online comes in several plans, and most shops are on the wrong one. Part of the setup is choosing the plan that fits: payroll, projects, inventory, or none of it. We set it up so it is yours, whatever happens to us.
A Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, not a generalist.
Jacki Schulz, People Purpose's Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and registered CRA representative, does the setup and the training. Rod Penner scopes the migration.
Questions owners ask first.
Do I have to stop working while you migrate?
No. You keep invoicing in the old system until the day we switch, and we bring that last stretch over too.
What happens to my history?
Migration brings it over and reconciles it to your last bank statement. Setup starts a fresh file from an opening balance, which is often the better choice when the old books are not trusted.
Do you keep the books after?
We set it up and train whoever keeps them. If you want them kept for you, ask, and we will tell you plainly whether we are the right fit.
How long does it take?
Setup inside two weeks from access. Migration inside thirty days. Both depend on how quickly we get access and answers.
What if we are bigger than that?
Then we scope it first. A twenty-minute call about where the books are today, then a written fixed price for your file, and that price holds.
Tell us where the books are today.
Fill this in and we will confirm the option that fits and get it moving.
We answer every enquiry within one business hour.
